Adding Texture to Your Combat Handgun

If you have not noticed, polymer pistols are becoming more and more popular. In 1982, the Austrian gun manufacturer, Glock, came out with a highly innovative but controversial pistol design using polymer for their pistols. At first, it was rejected by the traditional crowd because they believed guns should be all steel construction. However, after 20 years of service, Glock has proven itself to be one of the most durable and reliable handguns, and the majority of law enforcement agencies across the nation and the world choose the Glock as their duty weapon.

KWA SR10 – The True Gun Fighter’s Airsoft Carbine

I have been in the airsoft community for over 7 years. Traditionally when I first started airsoft, AEGs (Airsoft Electric Gun) were not quite up to speed right out of the box. I found myself upgrading them, piece by piece, from internal to external. Over time, I had developed a mindset that all stock guns are not great, and they have to be upgraded in order to perform to my expectations.

I remember when I first purchased my Tokyo Marui M4A1 Carbine. After the first week having it, I spent $140 dollars on an FTK (Full Tune-up Kit) in order to make it shoot at 400 FPS. After that, I spent about $110 on an MBK (Metal Body Kit), since stock Tokyo Maruis come with plastic receivers. I also purchased a one piece metal outer barrel due to the fact that the stock barrel is an unstable two-piece design. Last but not least, I purchased a rail system. At the end, I spent over $500 just to make the gun shoot the way I wanted, and look the way I liked.

Tools of an American Warrior – The 1911

I have always preferred the 1911 over other handgun platforms. As a real firearm owner, I look for 2 things in my handguns; safety and accuracy. The 1911 is one of the best handgun designs in the word, and it has been proven for more than a hundred years. They are the most accurate handgun chambered in 45 ACP, to have entered into the battlefield. The 1911 also continues to dominate the competition community, due to its superb accuracy and smooth operation.

WE Tech are famous in the airsoft community for producing some of the best airsoft gas blowback pistol on the market. Their 1911s prove their reputation. Despite the lack of trademarks, there is more to the WE 1911 series gas blowback pistols than just a piece of gun shaped metal.

Semi Auto Sniper Rifle

Due to heavy school work, I have not posted any detailed articles for a while; for that, I apologize. I promised myself to post a detailed article first thing after my final, so here it is.

Semi-auto sniper rifles are becoming more popular due to its increase of efficiency on the battlefield. Traditionally, snipers usually use bolt action sniper rifles because of the accuracy and precision of the bolt action rifles. However, the modern battlefield has changed; the sniping community demands the sniper rifles to change along with the modern battlefield.
