Top Tech DMR Challenge

This week on Top Tech Challenge! Aaron vs. Spencer! We take a bare bones G4 and the techs have to make it the best possible SPR (Special Purpose Rifle). Except, this time, each stage is timed, meaning that they only have 30 minutes for the gear box and 30 minutes for the body. Mix that in with some shooting challenges, and you have a tech challenge that will really push these guys to the limit. Be sure to check these guns out on our website!

Jet’s Longest Confirmed AEG Kill Explained

Jet, from DesertFox Airsoft, makes an incredible shot at approximately 220 feet from point to point. This occurred at John Lu’s Army Birthday Combat Experience where Jet had taken up a position on top of a hill. Be sure to check out this timestop to see that even zoomed in, the camera can barely pick up the target, as that is how far away they were. The specifications for Jet’s AEG at that particular event were:

Frank, head tech at Airsoft GI, also takes some time to explain how the Magic Box Miracle Barrels Work. The key with this particular barrel is how the BB sits inside of a steel ramp allowing the BB to make contact at 3 points when being given backspin. This means that the BB is given a more consistent backspin with little side to side variation, which results in a more consistent shot.

Magic Box Miracle Barrel Test with Different Weights

Back by popular demand, we performed a more scientific Magic Box Miracle Barrel test. This time we add BB weight into the mix. This allows us to demonstrate not only the effectiveness of an upgraded barrel to a stock one, but also of the effects of different weight BB’s.

You might have seen our other Magic Box Miracle Barrel Test, but we wanted to change it up and show you how well the Miracle Barrel works with different weight and heavier weight bbs. Using a 300mm barrel at 60 yards, we compared the Miracle Barrel to the standard 300 mm barrel, to see how the two compared. Needless to say, the Miracle Barrel did great!
